There are very few institutions in India which can match the potential and performance of the XLRI. To get admitted to the prestigious XLRI one needs to appear and clear the XAT conducted every year by the XLRI. One can get registered for the XAT by filling up an online form. When someone get him or herself registered via the XLRI website then a whole set of follow up instructions are provided by the institute online for further proceedings. An aspirant should remember that the application form to apply for the XAT is available only online. So, no need to run to places to get a copy of an application form.

At one go one student will be allowed to apply for maximum of three available programmes. If you have applied for more than one programme then you may get multiple calls for interviews, GD etc. for all the programmes.

As per the institution sources several factors come into play in the selection of the students for the various management courses in the XLRI. Along with the marks in the XAT, GD and personal interview one candidate is scanned for his or her past academic records, work experience, extra curricular activity etc. too.

In general, the XAT paper consists of three sections namely Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making Ability (AR), Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QA) and Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA).
